Collection: Original Artwork
All my work is originally done on heavy watercolour paper - cold press, 200/250 lb.
I use a variety of watercolour media as well as acrylic inks, coloured pencils & pastels. I love the texture & feeling of applying several layers of colour to this type of paper & have never felt the need or desire to use canvas.
I come up with ideas for my work from both imaginative quick sketches as well as observation from nature. Sometimes I combine both elements to create a hybrid imaginative/natural phenomenon as the idea develops.
